JOB DESCRIPTION Chubb is seeking a Senior Product Owner to lead Combined Insurance's efforts to deliver customer solutions and business automation that will improve the experiences of policyholders, agents, brokers, and employers. JOB SUMMARY: As a Senior Product Owner (PO), you will play a critical role in leading technology transformation and building business capabilities that allow Combined to compete in the market and deliver leading customer experiences. Product Owners will be aligned to the following strategic initiatives: Combined Connections : Deliver leading digital experiences and self-service capabilities related to claims, agent sales, broker sales, and benefits administration. Small Business Automation : Enable profitable growth and scale operations through expanded underwriting offerings, enhanced worksite sales digital experiences, and increased process automation. Billing & Premium Application : Deliver a premiere billing experience for both users and customers through enhancements and process automation that accelerate premium application and deliver scalable, digital-first capabilities that enable operational effectiveness. As a dedicated member of an Agile team, the Product Owner will partner with business owners and stakeholders across Combined to successfully deliver the project, from defining requirements and designing solutions to articulating acceptance criteria and executing testing. This includes driving the end-to-end digital product lifecycle (for critical and complex projects) to achieve business outcomes aligned with strategic priorities and corresponding OKRs. The PO will lead one or more multidisciplinary squads to deliver high quality work product via faster/shorter iterative cycles. They will be responsible for driving decision-making and removing impediments to the team's progress by influencing key stakeholders, engaging with other POs to manage interdependencies, and escalating issues appropriately. RESPONSIBILITIES: Own end-to-end product lifecycle, including visioning, research & data gathering, planning, execution, and measurement; accountable for the quality of work product and overall outcomes produced by the multidisciplinary squad throughout the lifecycle Develop, prioritize, and maintain the product roadmap and squad backlog to drive speed-to market and business impact Lead quarterly business reviews (QBRs) from integrated planning, prioritization, and resource allocation to shaping the objectives and key results (OKRs) Build a collaborative and high-performing team through role modeling, coaching, leadership, and mentorship of other product owners and team members Articulate opportunities and design target journeys and solutions, balancing multi-disciplinary inputs and competing stakeholder priorities with achieving business outcomes Monitor dependencies and risks, and actively work with relevant stakeholders to mitigate or resolve Provide needs clarity, support solutioning & release planning, and collaborate in providing quality assurance during build and testing of the product capabilities Facilitate product demos and launches, advocating and communicating value to users and stakeholders Measure and track performance of key metrics in line with the OKRs; generate insights and feedback into the roadmap and delivery Scribe experience and process-focused user stories in alignment with the digital-first ways of working story writing and ownership model Continuously identify areas of opportunities for the squad and provide input into sprint reviews and retrospectives FUNCTIONAL COMPETENCIES: Strong leadership and influencing skills: drive stakeholders and the teams towards a vision; ability to influence at all levels; from senior leadership to the working team Excellent communication and presentation skills including translating business strategy into clear and measurable OKRs Outcome and results orientation; focus on business outcomes, data and insights, and commitment to continuous improvement; a proactive 'can do' attitude Ability to provide hands-on direction and day-to-day execution ownership in a multidisciplinary team Strong self-motivator with a contagious ability to spread energy to team; collaborative mindset and seek to understand by listening with a focus on growing and developing people Relevant knowledge and understanding of business objectives to align with product vision Demonstrated ability to think both strategically and tactically; Also, an empathetic approach to understand user needs and motivations Ability to juggle multiple priorities and handle unexpected challenges that arise within projects, adapting quickly and effectively TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES: Deep sub-domain-specific knowledge with a focus on customer experience, digital solutions, and data-enabled decision making; demonstrated expertise in insurance industry-specific topics (e.g., product, underwriting, group implementation, account management, claims, billing) Hands-on end-to-end digital product management lifecycle experience, preferably in insurance industry setting Robust working knowledge in technical aspects of product development, including solution design, SDLC management, agile principles, and programming concepts Strong knowledge of Chubb's digital-first operating model and its application to the product management discipline Fluency in data and analytics driven decision making and feedback loops into product development Requisition #: 81006ahf9io63
