Project Overview: Bechtel is building a semiconductor manufacturing plant in New Albany, Ohio. We are partnering with the North America Building Trades Unions and suppliers to create several thousand new jobs and work with local education organizations to implement new training programs that will support the future talent pipeline. Bechtel Manufacturing and Technology, Inc. offers engineering, procurement, and construction services for customers in the semiconductor manufacturing, electric vehicle, and data center markets. Headquartered in Reston, Virginia, the M and T global business unit also includes colleagues working in Arizona, Ohio, Texas, India, and additional project locations around the world. Job Summary: In this role, you will monitor and organize subcontractor planning, safety, quality, and technical activities on a complex project with multiple stakeholders' involvement, through the coordination and instruction of subcontractor's management staff. Your field supervision will help ensure operations are planned to coincide with overall established schedules and that work methods are planned and executed safely.LI:SM2 Major Responsibilities: stylemargin:bottom:1.0px;margin:top:1.0px::Monitors and organizes subcontractor activities, through coordination and instruction of subcontractor's management staff within the area of responsibility. :Role supports on mid:size projects of medium to high complexity with multiple stakeholders' involvement. Planning stylemargin:bottom:1.0px;margin:top:1.0px::Monitors subcontractor construction schedules, resource charts, and material and equipment requirements.:Reviews subcontractor construction methods, schedules, manning charts, and material and equipment requirements. :Coordinates the construction operations impact on external interfaces to ensure they coincide with the overall established schedules. Safety / Quality stylemargin:bottom:1.0px;margin:top:1.0px::Monitors installation of materials and equipment to assure conformance with drawings, specifications, vendor, and other requirements :Enforces policies, procedures and related work rules as established by field construction management. Technical stylemargin:bottom:1.0px;margin:top:1.0px::Supports Construction Field Engineers, Foremen, and Craft Professionals, in interpreting Engineering design documents, vendor documents, and other technical documents:Coordinates engineering solutions with Subcontractors, and Foremen and Craft Professionals.:Coordinates with Design on constructability issues.
