HUB LOCATIONS: Dunwoody, GA; Richardson, TX; Tempe, AZ; or Bloomington, IL Responsibilities The Brand Design Marketing team at State Farm is looking for an experienced Sr Motion Graphics Designer to join our team. The Brand Design Marketing team at State Farm is responsible for design excellence at scale for customer facing, and at times, internal facing Marketing communications.As a Senior Motion Graphics Designer on the Brand Design Marketing Team, you will report to the Brand Design Manager and partner with Creative Directors, Art Directors, Copywriters, Design Operations Leads and Production Coordinators. You will have direct and indirect responsibilities for projects such as: Brand asset development, usage guidelines and toolkits Application of brand assets within an atomic design system Mixed media video, display, digital signage, social What you'll be responsible for: Applying design principles and aesthetics throughout the creative development process to produce motion graphics for various digital media platforms Supporting design and animation of external and internal communications through updating existing projects, developing iterative concepts and versioning of final tactic output to meet specific platform needs Maintaining the highest level of design and brand consistency across motion graphics projects Collaborating closely with Design Operations teams to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment Working with team members within and outside of Brand Design to provide solutions that are aligned to strategy and on brand Providing evaluation and/or recommendation of design tools Qualifications Highly desired skills: 5+ years of relevant work experience in a design agency environment Portfolio of work that showcases motion design experience and technical skills. Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite including After Effects, Media Encoder, Photoshop, and Illustrator Strong visual aesthetic and the ability to work within a brand identity system. Expertise in storyboarding and concepting motion graphics. Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of a creative structure, including presenting to senior creative staff and executive levels. Additional skills: BFA or BA degree in Design/Visual Communication/Motion Graphics or similar Experience with Cinema 4D Experience with Workfront Applicants are asked to upload a PDF copy of their work portfolio or include a work portfolio link in their resume at the time of applying.
