Project Overview: Port Arthur LNG, LLC (PALNG) is developing a Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) production and export facility on a site located on the western shoreline of the Port Arthur Canal in Jefferson County, Texas. The project base scope will include two (2) identical LNG trains, two (2) LNG Storage Tanks, one (1) LNG Carrier Berth, and associated utilities/facilities. The Project is to be constructed on a parcel of land located along State Highway 87 south of Port Arthur, Texas, between the inner coastal waterway bridge and Keith Lake. The Infrastructure Global Business Unit (GBU) is executing site civil and marine scopes of work associated with our scopes of work on the Energy GBU LNG projects. As the 1 LNG EPC contractor by installed capacity, Bechtel has the capability to successfully deliver a broad range of LNG projects through our integrated EPC self:perform model, strategic partnerships, and proven experience in LNG project delivery. Partnering with Bechtel means lower cost, shorter delivery schedules, and greater certainty of outcomes for our customers. Job Summary: As the Project ES and H (Environmental, Safety and Health) Representative, you will be responsible for providing ES and H advice and facilitating, promoting, and coordinating activities related to ensuring the health and safety of all project employees is maintained. The successful candidate will champion ES and H on the project and continuously contribute to a positive safety culture : leading by example, coaching personnel, and providing timely advice and support as required for the project workforce. The role is based on the Port Arthur Liquefaction Project site (7 miles south of Port Arthur, Texas), and works a 48:hour extended work week. The successful candidate will be willing and able to work a reasonable amount of overtime and if required night shift, as needed to support safe project execution. The ES and H Advisor is a field:based role, providing support to management, supervision, craft professionals and subcontractors.This position has a work scope that includes field inspections and the physical ability to conduct field inspections which require the following activities: extensive walking in and around a construction site, climbing ladders, climbing scaffolding, working on elevated platforms, working on uneven surfaces and working in small or confined spaces. Some lifting may be required. Must have the ability to walk into and out of the project (enter/egress). Must be able to use appropriate standard issued Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) required for each assigned task (i.e. harness, life vest, lift buckets, etc.).LI:BH1 Major Responsibilities:: Assists execution of the safety component of an ESH Program inclusive of technical and adm
