Description: Lockheed Martin is seeking a motivated and driven Quality Engineer for a position based in Grand Prairie, TX. This position is for a Quality Engineer supporting the PrSM program. The position requires previous Quality Engineering experience in developing and reviewing quality standards, methods, work instructions and procedures for the development and sustained production of manufactured and procured products. You will collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Subcontracting, Program Management, suppliers, and customer to ensure quality standards are implemented and being met. This role requires organization and time management skills, a constructively mindset to work with their cross-functional peers to ensure all Quality Engineering tasks and activities are proactively worked and completed in a timely fashion, and with precision. Role will also require monitoring performance, providing support for root cause and corrective/preventative actions, participating in Material Review Board (MRB) activities, providing technical liaison support related to quality engineering matters, auditing conformance to requirements, and working closely with the Customer to ensure adequate acceptance of product. Basic Qualifications: Technical Degree at the Bachelor level or aboveAbility to interpret drawings, specifications, contracts that will enable development and review of QE Processes, and related performance metricsAS9102 (First Article Inspections) methodology / implementation experienceDemonstrated ability to use causal analysis tools to analyze and resolve technical / process issues varying from basic to very complexExperience in disposition of non-conforming productsAbility to travel Desired Skills: Engineering Degree at the Masters levelLean / Six Sigma Green or Black Belt CertificationExperience in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance Experience with process capability analysis and interpretation, gage R&R, measurement system analysisAS9100 and ISO9001 interpretation and application experienceASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) and / or Certified Quality Improvement Associate (CQIA)Experience working with Government customersEffective communication skills - written, oral, listening and technical writing Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
