The ideal candidate will have second or third chair experience and preferably hold a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering. This role offers the opportunity to work on challenging patent litigation cases and requires a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in the field. Duties:Assist in all aspects of patent litigation cases, from inception to resolution.Draft and respond to motions, pleadings, and other legal documents related to patent litigation matters.Conduct thorough legal research and analysis on patent law issues.Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and tactics.Assist with discovery, including document review and preparation for depositions.Prepare for and participate in hearings, trials, and other court proceedings.Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and internal team members.Manage and organize case files and documentation. Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the Georgia State Bar; admission to additional state bars is a plus.4+ years of experience working on patent litigation cases, preferably in a law firm setting.Second or third chair experience in patent litigation is highly desirable.Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering is preferred, but candidates with relevant technical backgrounds will also be considered.Strong understanding of patent law and litigation procedures.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field preferred. Certifications:Admission to the Georgia State Bar; admission to additional state bars is a plus. Skills:Solid grasp of patent law principles and procedures.Proficiency in conducting legal research and drafting legal documents.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines with attention to detail.Team player with a proactive and resourceful approach to work.
