Logistick is seeking an experienced, initiative-taking, detail-oriented and solutions-minded individual to fill the following role: Role: Director of Information Technology (IT) Systems The on-site Director of IT Systems is responsible for leading and collaborating with subject matter experts and senior leadership to create a comprehensive plan that outlines how and why technology and systems should be used to meet the organizations business goals and needs. The position will be responsible for implementing IT governance, policies, and standard work to mature and scale the organization in a secure, safe manner. The Director will be responsible for taking an inventory of current applications and hardware and developing a cost benefit analysis process to measure and roadmap enhancements, including the value add of potential platform and application changes. Must have a proven track record of continuous improvement in scaling business IT systems and workflows in alignment with strategic and growth objectives. Must have a positive attitude and a hunger for continuous improvement to the evolving and scaling business needs and objectives, with an intentional focus and desire on organizational execution. Basic Functions: Manage all business systems applications and related activities from an end-to-end approach, in conjunction with key stakeholders. This includes leading the direction for email, ERP, CRM, TMS, website and other major business-facing applications. Build, plan, coordinate, direct, and design all operational activities for the IT department that enhance mission-critical business operations, as well as strategic initiatives. Collaborate closely with departmental stakeholders and employees to identify, recommend, develop, implement & support cost-effective technology solutions for all aspects of the organization. Manages internal resources and 3rd party providers for day-to-day operational activities, including Salesforce (CRM) and Great Plains (ERP) etc., including the review of service contracts. Reporting Relationships: Reporting Relationship: Nick Kanczuzewski - President Direct Reports: Manages the IT & Systems Specialist Collaborators: Engaged with all departments and functions of the company, including Leadership, Sales/Marketing, Finance & Accounting, Operations, R&D and Office/Building management. Duties & Accountability: Primary Duties: Review and analyze existing applications effectiveness and efficiency, and then develop strategies for improving or leveraging these systems. Direct & manage 3rd party providers and IT staff to meet business needs, including end-user set-up, network up time, application readiness , CRM & ERP systems etc. Architect and implement IT strategies & infrastructure, including application improvement projects, to streamline business processes to better position the company to grow and scale. Direct requirements definition, development, validation, and ongoing maintenance Plan, develop, supervise, and implement IT projects utilizing project management tools and Coordinates and deploys company-wide technology updates and provide training on systems and new features to employees to optimize their roles. Maintain IT security systems and protocols to protect the assets of the organization and drive necessary system enhancements to support business objectives, working with the Leadership Team and outside vendors, as needed. Fiscally responsible for application services actual-to-budget expenditures, adjusting spending patterns/trends as needed to comply with budgeted Prepare, revise, finalize and submit the annual budget forecast for the Applications Services Department and related technologies. Manages the IT support/help desk and ticket system. Secondary Duties: Establishes, monitors and ensures compliance with system standards and applicable Develops procedures, structure & contracts for support, maintenance & security of Performs quality service level assurance at technical and procedural Explores innovations and trends in technology for institutional Maintains accurate and complete system documentation and business Coordinates and manages outside vendors, contract negotiations, licensing, maintenance contracts and service level Develop & document application systems back-up & disaster recovery procedures . Research and recommend innovative, and where possible, automated approaches for system administration tasks. Identify approaches that leverage company resources and provide economies of scale. Repair and recover hardware or software failures. Coordinate and communicate problem resolution updates to the team. Apply operating system patches and upgrades on a regular basis and upgrade administrative tools and utilities. Manage and maintain all Logistick hardware and software systems and networking. Train & support staff on functions and use of all hardware and software systems as needed. Professionally document all projects and system/software/programming changes. Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree in an Information Technology Systems related field, i.e., IT Management, Information Systems Management, Informatics or Computer/Information Science etc. 10+ years of progressive experience in applications support, software implementation, database and application development, including web Proven track record in end-to-end system implementation; from concept to gap analysis, with cross functional team participation, application vetting including cost-benefit analysis, what if scenarios, roll-out, testing etc. At least 5 years with direct project management and people management experience. Experience leading full enterprise ERP and or CRM systems and/or upgrades. Strong interpersonal, communication & leadership skillset. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience with process improvement projects such Kaizen. Ability to adjust and set priorities to meet deadlines. Ability to effectively manage, develop, and coach staff. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation and training skills. Strong persuasion and negotiation skills, including conflict resolution skills. Ability to work effectively in a professional manner with technology staff, business stakeholders, end users, management, and others outside the organization. Ability to work independently and make sound business decisions. Self-motivated with ability to drive projects, but also team chemistry inclined. Experience Advantages: Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains, Google G-Suite and Microsoft O365 Understanding of Application Integration, Portals, and Analytics Criteria for Measuring On-the-Job Success: Inventory and assess current software applications and hardware. Create and deploy IT governances and standards Create and deploy IT policies. Collaborate with senior leadership team and community of users on a strategic IT plan. Develop training for the successful launch of new technologies. Ensure IT priorities are regularly aligned with business priorities Mitigating financial, data, and operational risk for the organization Maximizing efficiencies with systems Ticket tracking and execution performance Physical activities & requirements: Safely lift and move computing and communications equipment and handle cabling media and tools up to 40 pounds; ability to work in a standard office environment; may be exposed to outdoor conditions.
