Freedom Home CareWe have a new case in the La Plata area that will require staffing ASAP:12-hour shifts, 7 days a week, 7am - 7pm or 8am - 8pm @ $18/hr We are adding new cases all the time throughout most of MD so please also apply if interested in joining our text list to receive updates of all new cases. You must embody our values and Founding Principles: Have a passion to serve others Promote a family spirit through compassion and laughter Make a positive difference in the lives of the clients we serve Be open, honest, and act with integrity Treat others with dignity and respect We are looking for the following characteristics at Freedom Home Care: Positive Attitude Professionalism Compassion Outgoing Personality Patience Flexibility Honesty Promptness You will provide hands-on care for the client, tasks including: Personal Care services including bathing, dressing, assistance with toileting, etc. Light housekeeping and laundry Meal planning, preparation and cooking Grocery shopping and errands Medication reminders and/or management Prescription pick-up Other home care needs We provide: Initial and ongoing training Flexible schedules Industry-leading pay Satisfaction in knowing you are making a positive difference in your client's lives Incentives offered to employees that excel Qualifications: High School graduate or G.E.D. Current CPR certification Current CNA license Complete a criminal background check Must have PPD or chest x-ray Possess a valid driver's license and insured automobile for transportation for the job Ability to read, write, speak and understand English Ability to lift 150 lbs.
