Responsibilities for the Customer Service Representative: Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing exceptional service via phone, email, and in-person interactions. Utilize product knowledge and understanding of electrical trade practices to assist customers with product selection, technical questions, and troubleshooting. Process customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely delivery and fulfillment. Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, operations, and technical support, to ensure seamless customer interactions and resolution of inquiries. Maintain accurate customer records, including contact information, communication history, and order details. Identify opportunities to improve customer service processes and procedures, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the customer service department. Stay up to date on industry trends, product developments, and regulatory requirements relevant to the electrical trade. Requirements for the Customer Service Representative: High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree preferred. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service role within the electrical trade industry. Strong knowledge of electrical products, equipment, and systems. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Proficiency in customer service software and systems, with experience using CRM platforms preferred. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle challenging situations. Detail-oriented, strongly organized and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
