Everything you and your family need, right in your neighborhood to be your best healthy.JOB DESCRIPTIONUnder the direction of the Manager, performs a wide variety of duties to provide diagnostic Radiologic services to hospital patients, both in-patient and out-patient, in accordance with physicians orders.QUALIFICATIONSEducation:1. Graduation from an AHA approved school of Radiologic technology. -2. Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. -3. Must be licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health/Radiation Control Program.4. CPR certification required.Experience:Requires two years directly related student experience to become proficient in all duties performedSkills/Abilities:1. Ability to manage physically aggressive patients2. Ability to transport patients from wheelchair or patient slide board to table3. Ability to move portable x-ray machine to examination site4. Ability to lift 30-35 pounds with assistance using good mechanical body position5. Ability to wear protective lead aprons and lead gloves during examinations6. Ability to perform tasks for a long period of time, i.e. special procedures7.
