Job Title: Technical Writer Duration: 7 Months Location: Chicago, IL 60661 Pay Rate: $25 - $29 Responsibilities: Responsible for technical documentation for critical Global Information Security (GIS) projects.You will work with security engineering team, security architecture team, product management team, and project management team to produce the required project artifacts, including solution design document, service specification, security control specification, user guides, support scripts, documentation for audit and governance, and presentation materials for various internal and external audience.You must be results-oriented, business focused, and successful at interfacing across multiple organizational units at various levels.Knowledge of various cybersecurity concepts and protocols, such as digital identity, authentication, data encryption, API protocols, cloud security, and security risk management, is essential. Required Skills: Bachelor's degree in IT, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Communications, or relevant fieldsProven experience working in a technical writing positionUnderstanding of highly technical concepts/environments and the ability to translate to non-technical audience using text and diagramsFamiliarity with cybersecurity concerts and best practicesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong attention to detailAble to write in explanatory and procedural styles for multiple audiencesSkilled at prioritization and multi-taskingAbility to work in a fast-paced environment under minimum supervisionTeam first approach with ability to partner with teams for corporate communications Desired Skills: Experience working with development and project teams using agile methodsExperience with agile story writingJIRA experience PDN-9bf79567-a075-47de-95b5-f1e00249c2ba
