Description:
As a Automotive Tech Support Rep for Dorman Products at our Powertrain Industries location, you will beresponsible for the complete handling of customer orders and answering technical questions. PRIMARY DUTIES: - Fulfill promises made to customers 100 of the time or notify them of changes - Pro:actively track customer orders to ensure on:time shipping - Handle arrangements for shipment of product - Answer phones providing feedback to customers as requested - Tech line phone support including quality control follow up - Work with material and production groups as needed to alert customers of potential backorders - Ability to learn products, multiple systems and customer portals - Maintain accurate work Instructions as customer requirements or processes change - Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS / EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE: - High School Diploma or equivalent -Have general automotive parts experience - Have good organizational skills - Maintain a positive and professional demeanor - Ability to handle complaints regarding unpleasant situations or conflicts - Ability to multi:task with attention to detail - Customer Service experience in an automotive or manufacturing environment desired - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with Google Docs - ERP/MRP experience in a manufacturing environment desired
