Division:Surgery (80001020) Department:Surgery : Vascular Surgery (90002457) Employment Duration: Part:time Work Location: Veterans Affairs Medical Center Summary The Michael E. DeBakey Department of Surgery at Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, Texas, is seeking a vascular surgeon to join the Division of Vascular Surgery and Endovascular Therapy. Ideal candidates will have completed an advanced fellowship in vascular surgery and have at least 3:5 years of clinical practice experience. The Division has a robust clinical program across the Texas Medical Center and at Baylor:affiliated institutions including Baylor St. Lukes Medical Center, part of CHI St. Lukes Health, and the Texas Heart Institute, the Michael E. DeBakey Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Ben Taub Hospital, and Texas Childrens Hospital. Opportunities for potential leadership roles in the clinical, administrative, vascular lab, quality, and outreach activities of the Division with our partnership with Catholic Health Initiatives : a 90:hospital, not:for:profit network partner with the Baylor St. Lukes Medical Center, will also be afforded to the individual chosen for this position. Minimum Qualifications The successful candidate will have a particular interest and expertise in both open and endovascular surgery with clearly demonstrated skills in clinical patient care, education, and research. Rank and tenure status are dependent upon qualifications.
