We seek to create a richly enjoyable and personally rewarding environment for all our employees Job Purpose The Technical Support Engineer will be responsible for developing technical knowledge for product and process evaluation, material testing and characterization. In addition, the Technical Support Engineer will provide technical and laboratory support to external and internal requests for Film and Smart Surface Solutions business. Job Responsibilities : Ensure that Company ISO, Health, Safety and Environmental policies are fully implemented during all activities.: With minimal oversight, works to provide technical and laboratory support to external and internal requests. : Develop a full understanding of the FIM process, including being fully certified to use all equipment involved in this process.: Develop a full understanding of Membrane Switch and Capacitive Touch control construction and functionality.: Develop a full understanding of the screen:printing process with an emphasis on screen making products.: Investigate, experiment, and ensure product performance is appropriate for projects and applications, and provide data in reports to help optimize customers processes.: Report project progress, publish technical reports and make presentations as needed.: Develop knowledge, understanding and conduct OEM specification testing to support ongoing and future projects.: Support complaints investigation (as defined in Complaints Monitor Work Instruction Documents) using problem solving techniques like Ishikawa and 8D to identify root cause.
