Matric Group is seeking a technical and creative Power Electronics Design Engineer to become an integral part of the Matric Group team by contributing to the success of our customers and engineering group. As a Power Electronics Design Engineer you will design and test circuits to use in power electronics systems. Utilizing your Power Electronics Design education and/or experience you will also be responsible for the following: Variable Frequency Drives and other power switching topologies. Understanding of bus capacitors, bus structure and low L construction. Value based selection and support of power components. Power magnetics core design or application knowledge. Spice or other circuit simulation. Capable of product design, support and provide test instructions. Experience in EMI/EMC and certifications is favorable.
