Along with verdant greens and lush landscapes, Quail Lodge is home to Edgar’s, a farm-to-table restaurant that highlights fresh local produce and adheres to the Monterey Bay Aquarium Seafood Watch guidelines of sustainability.Working alongside the amazing team at The Quail Lodge & Golf Club, we are seeking a Host to support our Food & Beverage Department.* Work for a highly prestigious hotel located in sunny Carmel Valley, California.* Learn and grow within a strong hospitality operation.* Exceptional medical benefits, Employee discounts on Lodge, Golf, and Dining services. Key Accountabilities* Ensure that open table reservation system is operational and accurate at all times* Greet guests by name whenever possible, and seat them at tables or in waiting areas* Answer the telephone using established verbiage* Clear and reset tables, clean service area, and serve food & beverages as required General Requirements * Valid California driver’s license required* Must be able to work early morning, day, weekend and holiday shifts as needed* Prior experience in food and beverage* Responsible Beverage Service Certification preferred * Food Handlers Certification preferred Salary: $21.75 per hour Benefits We Offer: * * 5 vacation days per year* 5 sick days per year* 9 holidays days per year* Complimentary employee meals* Complimentary parking* Complimentary dry cleaning of business attire* Discounted and complimentary room nights at The Peninsula Hotels* 25% restaurant discount* 40% discount on retail* Complimentary use of golf course
