Service Care are currently recruiting a Nurse to work within specialist palliative care unit in Greater Manchester. £26.00- £45.00ph Ltd + £250 Registration Bonus. The contract is initially a full time 6-month contract, and all temporary staff will have access to a range of training and development opportunities and be welcomed as a valued member of an experienced and supportive team. The placement will begin with a 2-week induction training programme for all staff working as supernumerary to gain knowledge and skills for forthcoming placement. Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, you will support patients with complex clinical needs and provide hands-on, person-centred care. Palliative care is about helping people living with a terminal illness and everyone affected by their diagnosis to achieve the best quality of life. As well as providing care and support to patients, palliative care nurses help entire families through one of the toughest times any of us will face. It’s a challenging but highly rewarding job. Contract and Pay The position is full time, 34.5 hours per week for an initial 26-week period working predominantly Monday – Friday on 11-hour shifts. £26.00- £45.00ph Ltd may be negotiable depending on experience Person Specification Applications must be a General Nurse currently registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council NMC. The applicant must hold specialist palliative and end of life care experience.
