Band 6 Registered Learning Disability Nurse Opportunity available for a Registered Learning Disability Nurse to work within a Ward Based Setting, Based in Stroud The team sits within a ward based setting with the role predominantly backss, plan, implement and evaluate the nursing care needs of a specific group of service users. Band 6 Registered Learning Disability Nurse Opportunity available for a Registered Learning Disability Nurse to work within a Ward Based Setting, Based in Stroud The team sits within a ward based setting with the role predominantly backss, plan, implement and evaluate the nursing care needs of a specific group of service users. As part of this role you will supervise mentor and teach qualified and unqualified staff including students and coordinate care for a specified group of service users. You will also act as named nurse for designated patients, co-ordinating and accessing appropriate care/treatment and contribute to multi-disciplinary backssments and the development and monitoring of care plans. You will lead shifts regularly, ensuring appropriate and cost effective use of staff and resources that best meet the needs of the patients and be involved in the development of comprehensive support services to people with learning disabilities presenting challenging behaviour, autistic spectrum disorder and associated mental health problems. You must be able to clinically supervise identified Health Care Workers and co-ordinate associate worker responsibilities within Named Nurse role and proactively initiate and participate in personal development opportunities that compliment and enhance the role of the unit. The hours for this role is full time working 37.5 Per Week The hourly rate for this role are: Monday to Friday 06:00 – 20:00: £29 Per Hour Saturday/Nights: £32 Per Hour Sunday/Bank Holiday: £35 Per Hour The Benefits of working with Service Care Solutions: We offer a £250 sign up bonus for any new nurses that register.
