You will be working for one of UK’s leading health care providers This is a renowned private hospital in the heart of London, dedicated to providing world-class medical services with a commitment to patient care and well-being To be considered for this you must be qualified as a Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin As a Nurse your key responsibilities include: Conduct thorough pre-operative backssments, including health history reviews, physical examinations, and diagnostic test interpretations, to identify and address potential risks Collaborate with surgeons, anaesthetists, and other healthcare professionals to develop individualised care plans for patients Coordinate and arrange necessary investigations, such as laboratory tests, radiological examinations, and consultations, ensuring timely and accurate results Assess patients’ psychological and emotional well-being, providing support and education to alleviate anxiety and enhance their understanding of the surgical process Evaluate and optimise patients’ medical conditions to ensure they are fit for surgery, liaising with relevant specialists as needed Educate patients on pre-operative instructions, post-operative care, and recovery plans, fostering active participation in their healthcare journey Document all backssments, interventions, and communication in the electronic medical records system in a clear and concise manner Monitor and manage any pre-existing medical conditions or complications, taking appropriate actions to mitigate risks The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a pre-operative.
