Responsibilities: Performs clinical laboratory tests. - Assures instrumentation is operating according to industry standards. - Continually strives to improve processes to achieve accurate test results in a cost effective and efficient manner. Occasionally supervises activities of phlebotomists and clerks on specific tasks. - Occasionally functions as acting supervisor. Reports to a Laboratory Manager or Supervisor. - Receives general supervision from Pathologists, Director, Lead Technologist and Medical Technologists. - Qualifications: Education Bachelor's degree and Medical Technology (MT) certification with American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) or equivalent. - Must meet the minimum requirements of the Clinical Laboratory Act of 1988.Experience At least 1 years of MT background(Above requirements can be met by equivalent combination of education and experience) -Licensure/Certification Registered with ASCP (or eligible for registry) as a Medical Technologist or equivalentCompensation/Benefits $24.75-$43.71/hr depending on previous experience Benefits include medical, dental, vision, short-term disability, long-term disability, life insurance, paid time off (PTO), paid holidays, tuition reimbursement, scholarship opportunities, retirement plans, free parking, and opportunities for advancement.
