We are currently looking for an experienced Clinical Trials Charge Nurse who can provide overall support for the clinical leadership for the service. This post is based in Central London, which is easily accessible via public transport. About the role: You will be working in a clinical and service development capacity to ensure the service to patients is planned, delivered, and evaluated in line with evidence-based practice. Working closely with the multi-disciplinary team to help create and maintain a robust service whilst seamlessly incorporating other centre services. Your main responsibilities as a Clinical Trials Charge Nurse: - Supporting, leading, and managing the experienced nursing team to backss, plan, deliver and evaluate high standards of specialist care to cancer patients on clinical trials. backssing, planning, delivering and evaluation of all aspect of patient care - This will include meeting medical, physical, and emotional needs by effectively communicating with the patient and their families whilst ensuring they are cared for in a safe and comfortable environment. - Responsible for ensuring high levels of customer service alongside the multi-disciplinary colleagues. What we are looking for in a Clinical Trails Charge Nurse: - Registered General Nurse with valid NMC pin. - Significant post registration experience within an oncology setting or equivalent. - Clinical Trials experience desired but not essential - Intravenous chemotherapy and immunotherapy administration experience essential. - Knowledge of outpatient/day care delivery and the challenges this presents. - Mentorship and Preceptorship experience - Experience of management and leadership.
