The STEVE MARSHALL GROUP is currently seeking an IT Coordinator to join our team. This role encompasses the coordination of IT operations, assistance in managing our IT infrastructure and assets, and providing help desk support to our dealership locations. While building an overall IT strategy for our auto group, you will also have the exciting task of supporting, and working with, each of our dealerships with their local IT requirements. As this is a brand new position, we are looking for an IT professional who can put their stamp on our growing organization. Responsibilities: Project Management: Plan, execute, and oversee IT projects, ensuring timely completion within budget. Coordinate with team members, stakeholders, and vendors remotely. Technical Support: Implement remote technical support to employees, addressing issues related to software, hardware, and networks. Ensure high levels of user satisfaction. System Maintenance and Monitoring: Regularly monitor and maintain IT systems and networks to ensure they are functional, secure, and up-to-date. Implement preventive measures to avoid future issues. Security: Implement and manage security measures to protect data and IT infrastructure from cyber threats. Conduct regular security audits and ensure compliance with IT policies and regulations. Vendor Management: Manage relationships with software and hardware vendors, negotiate contracts, and ensure that the organization is getting the best possible service and value. Training and Guidance: Offer training and guidance to staff on new systems, software, and IT best practices. Develop user manuals and FAQ resources for common issues. Documentation: Implement and maintain comprehensive documentation for IT systems, configurations, policies, and procedures. Ensure documentation is accessible and up-to-date.
