Practice Area: Litigation - Commercial, Job Type: Attorney, Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 2 Years, A law firm in Chattanooga, is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney or Of Counsel with 2-10 years of experience in complex commercial litigation. The ideal candidate will have a federal clerkship background, distinguished academic achievements, superior writing and analytical skills, and experience in Electronic Discovery and federal court writing. This position requires meaningful involvement in ongoing litigation cases on a national scale. Duties:Provide legal counsel and representation in complex commercial litigation cases.Conduct legal research, analysis, and drafting of legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.Participate in all phases of litigation, including discovery, trial preparation, and appellate proceedings.Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys on case strategy and management.Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.Manage and prioritize workload effectively to meet deadlines.Utilize Electronic Discovery tools and techniques as needed.Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation.Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and legal precedents. Requirements:Federal clerkship background preferred.Distinguished academic achievements.Superior writing and analytical capabilities.Experience in Electronic Discovery and federal court writing highly desirable.Valid law license mandatory.2-10 years of experience in complex commercial litigation. Education and Certifications:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Valid law license. Skills:Strong legal research and analytical skills.Excellent writing and communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Proficiency in Electronic Discovery tools and techniques.Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.Commitment to upholding ethical standards and professional integrity.
