In Canada, Insight has a robust staffing department that specializes in placing talented technical candidates in highly sought-after roles across the country. We are searching for an experienced Network Analyst on a contract employment basis for our Calgary-based client in the energy sector. This hybrid Network Analyst role is a 4+ month contract opportunity for an experienced candidate with expertise in both Palo Alto and Aruba to assist with both project-based and operational responsibilities daily. If you have a passion for networking, a deep understanding of Palo Alto and Aruba solutions, and a track record of successfully supporting complex networks, please express your interest in this role by submitting your current resume. Responsibilities: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, configure, and deploy Palo Alto and Aruba network solutions tailored to meet the organization's requirements. Implement and maintain firewalls, switches, routers, and other network devices while ensuring adherence to security best practices and industry standards. Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and proactively identify areas for improvement to guarantee network reliability and performance optimization. Work closely with the IT support team to address network-related incidents and provide timely resolution to minimize downtime and service interruptions. Document network configurations, changes, and procedures to maintain accurate records and facilitate knowledge sharing within the IT department. Requirements: 5-7+ years’ experience as a Network Analyst or similar role, with hands-on expertise in deploying and managing Palo Alto and Aruba network solutions.
