The Role: They are currently seeking skilled Technical Authors for an exciting opportunity within the Maritime industry. You will report to the project's Technical Publications Manager. This is an exceptional chance to contribute to significant projects that have a direct impact on maritime operations. Responsibilities: Extracting relevant information from project databases, registers, and repositories to create or evaluate the impact on technical publications. Producing technical documentation in adherence to customer specifications, including the development of new technical publications such as Data Modules, OEM manuals, illustrations, schematics, and Vessel Operating Manuals. Delivering draft technical publications to ensure compliance with engineering governance within agreed timelines and meet both company and customer quality standards. Providing regular progress updates on all technical publication tasks as required. Fulfilling additional duties as assigned by the Technical Publications Manager. Requirements: Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Technical Author. Proficiency in authoring descriptive and procedural data modules following the S1000D standard. Knowledge of XML/SGML authoring tools. Experience working with a Common Source Data Base CSDB. Strong knowledge of Logistic Support Analysis. Visit ListedBuy for more information.
