Senior Finance Assistant – Restaurant Group – 1 month FTC / Immediate Start Role: Senior Finance Assistant Location: Old Street – London 1 month FTCSalary: £36,000This group has been at the forefront of the London food scene for over 30 years. Financial Reporting: Prepare management accounts, including balance sheets and income statements for each restaurant entity. Conduct variance analysis and provide insights to support decision-making. Accounts Payable and Receivable: Manage the processing of invoices, payments, and receipts accurately and promptly. Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to resolve any discrepancies or issues. Accruals and prepayment reporting: Ensure the accuracy of accruals and prepayment reporting. Cost of Sales reporting and reconciliation. Reporting of inventory movements, liaising with Purchasing to ensure the accuracy of food and beverage cost of sales. Sales Reporting: Reporting of daily, weekly, and monthly sales for the operating entities and licensed restaurants. Process sales journals and sales reconciliations. Fixed Asset Registers: Maintain complete and accurate fixed asset registers. Bank Reconciliation: Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records. Investigate and resolve any discrepancies on time. Payroll Reporting: Collaborate with the HR department to ensure accurate processing of payroll journals and reporting. Assist in reconciling payroll reports and resolving discrepancies. Compliance and Audit Support: Assist in maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
