We are currently looking for an experienced Paediatric Speech & Language Therapist, who can provide overall support for the clinical leadership of the service. This post is based in Bath, which is easily accessible via public transport. About the role: As a Paediatric Speech & Language Therapist, you will be supporting educational colleagues to provide therapeutic learning environments and, based on clinical backssment, offer individualised interventions and engagement to young people. You will manage your own caseload of children with language difficulties. Whats in it for you as a Paediatric Speech & Language Therapist: - Training: A full induction and on the job training - Holiday: We are happy to offer term time only contracts, or full year contracts with 30 days annual leave to be taken within the school holidays. - Clinical Development: We provide opportunities for clinical learning and development. - A recommend a friend scheme that offers a £1,000 bonus. Your main responsibilities as a Paediatric Speech & Language Therapist: - backssment and diagnosis of a childs communication difficulties through standardised backssments, informal observations and discussion with families and school staff. - Identification of appropriate strategies to facilitate and enhance communication and to implement speech and language therapy treatment, and to develop clear, evidence-based plans throughout the therapy intervention. - Communicate complex information to clients, families, and the MDT in order to maximise the effectiveness of speech and language input.
