An exciting new job opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Pharmacist Lead to develop an in-house shop Service at 2 private hospitals in North Yorkshire and North Tyneside. You will be working for one of UKs’ leading health care providers Both of the hospitals delivers a range of specialties including orthopaedics, general surgery, plastic surgery, urology, gynaecology, dermatology, oral, ENT, endoscopy, to both private and NHS patient To be considered for this position you must be qualified as a Pharmacist registered with the GPC As the Pharmacist Lead your key responsibilities include: Clinical screening and services to clinical departments Procurement, audit, patient counselling and other associated medical duties Attendance at relevant clinical governance meetings Providing advice to patients/carers and clinical staff on medical products as required Adhering to GPh C Standards of conduct, ethics and performance Supporting clinical managers in providing effective training and competency review of registered staff The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role: Sound written and verbal communication skills Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required Flexibility to work across the two sites Demonstrated Customer Service skills Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be patient focused The successful Pharmacist Lead will receive an excellent salary of £43,000 pro rata as it is in line with the hours of work. This exciting position is a permanent part time role working 30 hours a week.
