Psychologist Band 8a The Bay EDS Service- Altham Meadows Lancaster North Negotiable minimum 15 hours. Working on a Tuesday is essential as this is the team MDT day This role is within the Eating Disorder Service and the post holder will be expected to cover Lancaster, Barrow and Kendal. Knowledge of eating disorders and experience of CBT is essential. Experience of working with a neurodiversity population would also be advantageous. Remote working is not an option for this job. Job description: Carrying out specialist backssments of cognitive, behavioral, and emotional functioning with clients with complex neuro-disability and developing clear psychological formulations based on these backssments. Carrying out functional analyses of any challenging behaviors and developing appropriate guidelines and intervention plans. Making recommendations for interventions and care on the basis of the psychological formulation. Delivering and monitoring interventions, such as cognitive rehabilitation strategies, psycho-education to patients, families, and carers, CBT or other psychological interventions, and behavioral interventions, as guided by the formulation. Providing a clinical psychology/neuropsychology service, working with clients, families, and teams. Providing psychological and neuropsychological backssments, formulations, and interventions. Working closely with the MDT including therapy, medical, nursing, and social work colleagues. Contributing to the general professional activities of the discipline of clinical neuropsychology, and engaging in audit, research, and continuing professional development (CPD). Demonstrating an awareness of RHNs values and contributing to achieving them appropriately. Visit ListedBuy for more information.
