DEPARTMENT: Business and Technology Solutions REPORTS TO: Manager of Client Relations LOCATION: County of Brant Burford Administration office General Purpose: To assist the Desktop Support and network teams with scheduled projects. Responsibilities/Duties: Desktop Refresh program – assist with the configuration and deployment of approximately 60 new PCs. Assist network staff with configuration, documentation, and organization of Network Operation Centres. Work independently on one’s own as required. Employ superior interpersonal skills and tact in relating to other staff members and to the public. Respect and follow all rules of confidentiality as required by corporate and legislated policy. Carry out other duties as assigned. Knowledge/Skills Required: Intermediate knowledge of PC configuration in a corporate environment. Network and switch configuration knowledge would be an asset. Equivalent combination of education and experience along with the ability and skill to carry out the position duties as assigned. Acceptable Police Records Check. Education: Enrollment in relevant post-secondary program. Duration: April 29th, 2024 to August 30th, 2024 Hourly Rate: $21.35 (2023) Hours per week: 35 You must be enrolled in a post-secondary Institution and returning to school in the fall in order to qualify for this position.
