Financial Specialist - Greenville, NC AgCarolina has an open position for a Financial Specialist. In this role, you will contribute to our mission by providing assistance to loan officers in the territory by gathering loan applications and financials, preparing reports, and assisting in other areas of loan administration and business development tasks. This is a key role that helps build customer relationships by delivering great customer experiences and gives the successful candidate hands-on exposure to the loan life cycle. This role will report to the Financial Specialist Lead. The Financial Specialist position is not eligible for remote work. Internal candidates must have at least 2 years of Farm Credit experience, a Fully Successful rating or higher on their most recent performance review and have been in their current role for at least 1 year. How you will impact AgCarolina Farm Credit: - Utilizes internal and external communication for customers and third-party contacts to facilitate the loan process (i.e. gathering loan applications, financials, and scheduling loan closes, etc.) - Provides assistance to branch lending staff and helps facilitate other branch duties - Responsible for digitizing documents to build electronic customer files for loan staff - Utilizes our customer relationship management software - Collaborates with staff to provide timely loan servicing and completes loan service plans within compliance of the service level agreement - Demonstrates strong oral and written communication skills - Efficiently and accurately prepares AgVue credit request for AgScoring, traditional underwriting or analyst use - Builds networks and develops industry knowledge - Ensures all customers have a great customer experience - Effectively communicate with customers and team members - Demonstrates a commitment to learning and growing by proactively following development plan - Maximizes quality business growth to meet Association's profitability and other business plan objectives What you need to succeed: - Associates degree in business, legal, or accounting or an equivalent combination of education and experience - Strong analysis, judgment, and communication (oral and written) skills - Quick learner, strong problem solver, and adaptable - Work independently under general supervision - Problem solving, decisive, and assertive - Foster and promote a team atmosphere - General knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office What we offer: - Competitive pay, including eligibility for incentive pay - Comprehensive benefits (medical, dental, life, LTD, and others) - Company-matched 401(k) (100% match of the first 6% you defer) - Commitment to training and professional development - Meaningful work that allows one to make a difference in agricultural and rural communities. - Opportunities for work-life balance - A great work environment with colleagues who have a shared commitment to our core values Interview Process: Applications received within the first 2 weeks of posting date will receive priority consideration.
