PCP Clinic Supervisor Job Description Overview The PCP clinic supervisor will work within the clinic to develop strategies, managestaff, and oversee day-to-day clinic duties (scheduling, wait times, patient safety etc.).The PCP clinic supervisor will ensure that the clinic needs of the practice are met,and will communicate and collaborate with their Manager. Goals • Ensuring that established SOPs for the front and back office are followed.• Cross train front office duties from different departments.• Create best practice for eligibility, scheduling, and wait times.• Assist in creating best practices to optimize customer services.• Monitoring and ensuring that each day is successfully closed out each day withall pending appointments reconciled.• Decrease no show rate/increase provider productivity. Goal 20-25 patients aday perprovider• Optimize staff schedule and control overtime.• Any additional duties that may arise to meet the. Needs of the clinic.• Supply order for clinic office supplies• Monitor and manage provider schedules• Ensure linkage from PUF and to other lines of services.• Send updates via email to front and back office regarding schedulechanges, any clinic updates• Coordinate staff schedules and coverage for call outs and PTO requests.• Reviewing and approving employee time sheets for payroll purposes• Address any patient complaints regarding scheduling, providers, staff, etc Milestones Measure goals by:• Reduction in no show rate,• Reduction in wait time• Increase of productivity per provider.• Reduction of overtime hours.• Interdepartmental cross training of front staff .
