Short Term/Summer Worker - Parks Maintenance

Description:
The City of Belgrade is hiring for two full-time, Short Term/Summer Workers! The Parks Maintenance Short Term Workers will perform a variety of repairs and maintenance work using hand tools and equipment as needed for City facilities and parks. Duties include mowing and maintaining parks and athletic fields, grounds, and sprinkler systems, cleaning public restrooms, collecting and disposing of trash, painting and minor carpentry and landscaping (trees, flowers). Must be able to lift 50-75 pounds on an occasional basis. Position requires working outside in in varying temperature extremes. Hours will typically be M-F 8am-5pm, or 10-hour shifts, 6:30am-5:30pm, 4 days/week. Shifts may vary as needed to include evenings and weekends.
