Lead Therapy Specialist Nurse - Home Therapies Are you a compassionate and skilled nurse looking to make a real difference in the lives of dialysis patients? We're seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Therapy Specialist Nurse to join our dedicated team and lead our home therapies team here at Fresenius Medical Care. This role is full time, 37.5hrs a week, working variable hours between 8am and 5pm Monday to Friday. This is a field-based role where extensive travel will be required; therefore, you must hold a valid, full UK driving licence. Our head office is based in Huthwaite, Nottinghamshire. Key Responsibilities: Lead a team of skilled therapy nurse specialists, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a collaborative and supportive environment. Support the generation of new business and maintenance of existing business through the delivery of agreed clinical and product education, training and support across the Fresenius Medical Care portfolio. Liaise with the relevant NHS Trust other healthcare professionals regarding patient’s suitability for 1:1/Group training. Conduct training sessions for patients and their families/carers on home dialysis procedures, ensuring they feel confident and empowered to manage their therapy independently. Monitor and maintain high standards of care, conducting regular backssments and implementing quality improvement initiatives. About You, you will: Be an NMC Registered General Nurse with extensive renal experience. Have extensive experience in dialysis nursing, ideally with a focus on home therapies. Have current strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire and motivate a team. Be an excellent communicator and have great interpersonal skills. Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on the latest advancements in dialysis care. What can we offer you?
