Network Engineer Location: Dublin Salary: €50,000 – €65,000 per annum Are you an IT Professional looking for an exciting new role About the company Our client is fast-growing IT managed services provider based in Dublin Position Overview As the public face of the IT Department, you will be servicing a broad range of customers across range of network technologies. Responsibilities • This seasoned IT professional will play a pivotal role in supporting IT infrastructure, networks, and security. • Handling requests ranging from routing/switching, firewall, Vo IP, and IT support• Support, configure, and install network security devices, primarily Sonicwall and Fortinet. • Maintain and enhance documentation of customers' network environment. • Provide Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues. • Collaborate with vendors and other IT teams for issue resolution. • Responsible for implementing network infrastructures. • Conduct network maintenance and system upgrades, including service packs, patches, and security configurations. • Adhere to established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval, and success of changes to the network infrastructure. Candidate Requirements Essential Skills and personal qualities• IT Degree or equivalent combination of qualifications and experience. • Previous experience in supporting Network Routing, Switching, Security. • Knowledge in several of the following areas: Logging, network access control, Sonicwall or Fortinet routing and switching, VPN, configuration of firewalls. • Experience in virtualization technologies,.
