Position Summary An exciting opportunity exists in our Information Technology Department in Fort Saskatchewan for Specialist, IT Global Services. Reporting to the Manager, IT Support Services, the position specializes in IT Enterprise Solutions within IT Global Services. This includes Finance, Legal, HR, Sustainability, and Sherritt Technology. The position is accountable for planning, designing, developing, and implementing efficient business processes and IT solutions across IT Global Services. Accountabilities Provide subject matter expert knowledge to review and analyze existing applications effectiveness and efficiency, and then develop strategies for improving or leveraging these systems to satisfy evolving business needs. Creates, manages, designs, and implements the architecture of cyber-secure and highly available IT Enterprise Solution platforms within area of accountability. Analyze improvement opportunities, considering client requirements, documenting business process existing and proposed, carrying solution from design to delivery in conjunction with the customer and IT Project teams. Resolve escalated tier 2/3 support issues via the IT Service Desk, ensuring completion of corresponding Service Now knowledgebase and resolution entries. Prepare and submit.
