MULTICULTURAL FAMILY CENTER SITE SUPERVISOR (Part Time)The City of Dubuque invites applications for the positionof Multicultural Family Center Site Supervisor. This is apart time position with a work week of 20 to 25 hours.Candidates must be flexible to work during MulticulturalFamily Center hours including Monday through Thursday12 p.m. to 8 p.m., Friday 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday9 a.m. to 12 p.m. The successful candidate will beresponsible for supervising the day to day operationsof the center, including assisting community membersand serving as the point person for visitors, programparticipants and volunteers and ensuring compliancewith programming and event standards. Thesuccessful candidate will have experience working withteens, marginalized populations or different cultures;some experience in a supervisory role; experienceworking with a diverse workforce; or any equivalentcombination of experience and training which providesthe essential knowledge, skills and abilities. The abilityto speak Spanish or second language is preferred. Thesuccessful candidate will possess a demonstratedability to follow a management style that is inputoriented and values equity, problem solving and thedevelopment of partnerships and the desire to be a partof an organization that values service, people, integrity,responsibility, innovation and teamwork.
