Now Hiring!Personnel/Administrative AssistantUS Department of Justice: US Attorney’s Office – Columbia, SCWe are seeking a Personnel/Administrative Assistant for the US Attorney’s office in Columbia, SC. This is a contract position that will work full time hours (40 hours/week).Salary Range$15 – $20 per hour, DOEDutiesPersonnel/Administrative Assistant duties may include, but are not limited to:Provide a variety of clerical & technical support services in a fast paced legal office that include, but are not limited to the following: Initiate the Security Clearance process for new employees Coordinate Time and Attendance procedures and maintain database Distribute Training information, process training forms and maintain database Manage records & files Manage student schedules and process work study invoices for payment Provide Receptionist backup support Provide Administrative support to include, but not limited to the following: Type correspondence using word processing software Complete a variety of forms accurately & quickly Generate Form Letters and merge Form Letters with Mailing Lists Apply specialized terminology appropriately Schedule appointments Update online data, verify & correct existing records and create new on-line records Print predetermined management reports Handle inquiries regarding Personnel/payroll information maintained in database Edit & reformat written and electronic draft documents using Microsoft Word Efficiently operate a variety of office equipment such as PC’s, copiers, fax machines and multi-line telephone systems Experience and Qualifications Minimum of 3 years experience in a professional office environment Knowledge of standard office methods & procedures and computer equipment Type 30-40 wpm Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Outstanding oral communication skills and knowledge of English usage, spelling, grammar & punctuation Must be detail oriented and able to function efficiently in a fast-paced environment under specific deadlines Must be a US Citizen and successfully undergo an extensive background investigation High School Diploma required, Associate or Bachelor’s Degree desired Director of Product Management Needed Responsibilities (may include, but are not limited to): Perform product line research and project management for market demand pricing and the competitive environment Create and present for approval a strategic product plan that includes a strategic assessment, competitive overview, strategic goals, portfolio analysis, and action plans for each product line on an annual basis Provide and maintain expertise with respect to industry competition for assigned product lines and the subject matter for products Actively develop sales tools and marketing materials to support the product Recommend new product additions to product lines with supporting research Coach, facilitate and manage Product Managers, Assistant Product Managers, as well as Marketing personnel Train sales and marketing organization on new and existing products Actively communicate with regular reporting the status of projects to all stakeholders; including senior management and cross-functional teams Create special analysis and reports to support new customer proposals Work with the factory to reduce/eliminate product quality issues and identify cost reduction and value improvement opportunities Plan product exhibits and displays and participate in Trade Show support and representation when needed Ensure the setup of new parts with the Catalog and Data Specialist and Supply Chain Department Responsible for collecting product interchange, drawings, packaging data Coordinate the product launch process, including technical support to marketing for promotional material and packaging requirements Interact with sales force and customers as necessary to accomplish responsibilities Utilize tools such as AllData to research OEM information and data for date range expansion opportunities Analyze product line sales and develop relevant reports and analysis for management on a regular reporting cycle Direct and support Marketing with new product and now in stock announcements Develop financial sales and profitability goals for assigned product lines Recommend pricing for new and existing products based on Company standards Develop and publish accurate and efficient SOPs for areas of responsibility Develop and maintain relationships with customer, suppliers, and industry trade association partners to facilitate the collection and dissemination of high-quality product data and promote assigned product lines Conducting relevant product research; establishing competitive intelligence and various market analyses that supplement and compliments analyses already conducted by Product Managers Ensures there is consumer and market research to further aid the business in understanding current and future product needs Provide leadership and direction. Must have excellent leadership qualities and have the ability to influence and inspire Jr. and Sr. Product Managers in applying various approaches or strategies for the product(s). Acts as a mentor offering guidance in the performance of various functions in both Product Management and Marketing Education/Experience & Skills: Master’s degree in Product Leadership, Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Economics or an equivalent in work experience or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science or Marketing combined with equivalent work experience Automotive industry/aftermarket experience with 10+ years’ work experience in Executive level leadership Mechanical aptitude and an understanding of automotive parts Excellent Project Management, organization and analytical skills Proven track record in product planning, defining and launching successful products, unifying product portfolios, and leading a Marketing organization Experience in thought leadership in order to be better positioned to drive and these critical departments Excellent oral and written communication and people skills Analytical ability Customer service skills and orientation Decision Making Initiative Inventory Control Knowledge Ability to travel (50%) Mathematical Aptitude Ability to negotiate successfully High proficiency with office productivity software; particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access and Google tools recblid kmzk213yepfznur438r0d7py5z0w3e
