Job Title : Heavy Haul Equipment Transport Driver Job Summary : The transport driver is primarily responsible to transport heavy equipment and portable hot plant/asphalt structures to and from the job sites across the inter-mountain west.________________________________________________________________________________________________ Who we are & What we do. Clyde is based in Utah and completes heavy civil construction projects throughout the Intermountain West including: building roads and highways, bridges, dams, airport runways, installing large diameter pipe, LOCATIONS : Various Construction sites throughout Utah / Intermountain West.________________________________________________________________________________________________ Duties and Responsibilities : Visualize, fulfill, and implement the company vision and core values. Load, tie down, measure, and transport heavy equipment to and from job site. Transport broken equipment to the shop. Maintain commercial driver's license (CDL) and department of transportation (DOT) medical card. Know, understand, and comply with DOT regulation, height and width of load. Maintain insurable driving record. Always ensure a safe work environment. May require some overnight stays (Travel). ________________________________________________________________________________________________ Education and/or Experience : High school diploma or general education degree (GED). CDL with Doubles, Triples, Hazmat and Tanker endorsements. Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. May frequently be required to walk long distances over uneven ground. May frequently be required to stand, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl for long periods of time. Needs to be able to communicate well to receive and follow instructions, and understand safety requirements. Must frequently be able to lift and/or carry 0 - 50 pounds and occasionally lift up to 100 pounds. May occasionally lift items over their head.
