We are currently seeking a Maintenance Technician I (1) The Maintenance Technician repairs and maintains production equipment, troubleshoots equipment failures, and performs routine and emergency mechanical, hydraulic/pneumatic, and electrical maintenance. In addition, he or she helps install new equipment. The ideal Maintenance Tech I candidate has: One year of maintenance experience in an industrial setting (preferred). One year of mechanical or electrical knowledge (preferred). Basic mechanical understanding and repair. Basic plumbing and leak repair. Knows proper use of various hand tools and has their own hand tools. Is a team player who can work in a fast-paced and challenging environment. Is physically able to perform the duties of the job (move heavy equipment/machinery, climb ladders, perform repetitive motions, walk/stand, etc.) Has as strong communication skills. Is willing to work a flexible schedule which includes weekends, and holidays.
