Senior Communications Analyst

Description:
The Sr. Communications Analyst will evaluate the telecommunications and contact center needs of clients; plan and design dynamic and efficient communications systems; oversee/perform the installation of communications software and hardware and provide ongoing support and managed services to ensure maximum uptime and system performance. Supervisory Responsibilities: May provide job training and assistance to junior telecommunications analysts, staff, and contractors. Du ti es/Responsibili ti es: · Collaborates with customer support, sales, and other client-facing teams to assess current and future telecommunication system needs.· Provides and/or coordinates technical assistance, maintenance, and repairs; resolves operational problems while minimizing system downtime and service interruption.· Identifies and implements or recommends improvements and enhancements to hardware, software, and service packages.· Researches and recommends cost-effective upgrades to and replacements for telecommunications hardware systems and software packages.· Identifies telecommunications cost-control measures and network improvements; implements changes and/or makes recommendations to management.· Drive application build, product configuration, unit testing, and production deployment· Develops procedures and drafts necessary guidance documentation for installation, use, and troubleshooting of communications hardware and software.· Define and build optimal solutions for resiliency and disaster recovery for applications and services.· Trains users in the proper use of existing and new equipment and assists them in identifying and resolving data communications problems.· Monitors or participates in the installation of communications hardware as directed. Skills/Abili ti es: Thorough understanding of telecommunications services, systems, and networks.Hands-on experience with one or more telephony platforms preferred: Genesys, NICE CXone, Cisco, AvayaExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to read and comprehend network/systems/data-flow diagrams.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.Organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to use a variety of operating systems.Ability to work independently.Ability to use integrated computer-aided software engineering tools. Educa ti on and Experience: Bachelor's degree in information science, Computer Sciences, Management Information Systems, or related field experience.At least three years of related experience required.SEC+ certification Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
