Job Title : Fact Sheet Developer Location : Washington, DC Metro Area Canvas, Inc. provides services to a diverse group of customers in the areas of Test and Evaluation, Engineering Services, Program & Acquisition Management, and Product Integration. We are currently seeking a full-time Fact Sheet Developer. Job Description: Research and develop Army and Air Force (to include Space Force) Fact Sheets and Resource Locators related to entitlements and services for all components (Active, Reserve, Guard) and former service members in veteran and retiree status. Vet fact sheets with government and military agencies to ensure accuracy. After thorough edits and supervisor approval, post vetted Fact Sheets and Resource Locators to the appropriate Benefits Library via Content Management System (Ingeniux) in a timely manner. All activities are focused on integrated support to the Army G-1 Retirement Services Office (RSO) and Air Force A-1 DCS for Manpower, Personnel and Services. Required Experience & Skills: Reports to Web Content Lead Requires strong research, writing, and editing skills. Requires a self-starter with a high level of organization and time management skills. Comfortable calling strangers to confirm contact information is correct before posting on a publicly available website. Comfortable contacting government officials for the purpose of appropriately vetting fact sheet content and resource locators, maintaining updated list of vets and current contact information. Education and Experience: Previous military experience or military spouse preferred. Minimum of 1 year of professional experience preferred. MS Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook) and HTML edit proficiency.
