The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations. Position Overview Under the general supervision of the Manager (or designate) the incumbent: Serves as a regional expert in his/her designated clinical practice area(s), and provides guidance to the pharmacist members of his/her team through clinical leadership, mentoring, training, education, evaluation and research. Provides quality clinical shop services to patients/clients within his/her designated clinical practice area. Contributes to the delivery of quality clinical shop services by examining and evaluating the body of knowledge relevant to his/her designated clinical practice area(s), and applying that knowledge to the development of evidence based, regional shop practices. Serves as a regional shop resource in his/her designated clinical practice area(s) and provides educational programs to shop staff, students and other healthcare professionals. Experience Minimum of four years of recent clinical experience in direct patient care is required. One or more years of experience in direct patient care, within the designated clinical practice area(s), is preferred.
