We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Islington to assist with the appointment of a Technical Support Officer, on a 3- month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration. Responsibilities: Process applications and payments and maintain associated records. Receive payments in cash, by cheque and credit/debit card, issue receipts and maintain records; prepare monies for banking on a weekly basis. Calculate fees and raise invoices, investigate invoice queries arising and liaise with central finance where applicable To assist in the co-ordination and collation of management information and performance statistics for local and national performance indicators, including the monitoring of divisional performance against key indicators. Process incoming and outgoing mail. Electronically scan all correspondence, plans and documents Required Experience: Substantial experience of work dealing with formal administrative processes and working in a regulatory service. Experience of and a proactive commitment to providing a quality customers focus service Experience of servicing meetings, this includes organising meetings, arranging refreshments, preparing agendas, collating papers and taking and circulating minutes Please note: You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
