The candidate should have demonstrated experience in preparing and prosecuting patent applications within the realms of medicinal chemistry, pharmaceuticals, synthetic methods, and polymer science.Duties:Conduct prior art searches and analyze technical literature to support patentability assessments.Draft, file, and prosecute patent applications before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).Collaborate with inventors, attorneys, and other professionals to gather necessary information for patent application preparation.Analyze and respond to office actions, rejections, and other communications from the USPTO.Requirements:3-5 years of patent prosecution experience.Advanced degree, preferably a Ph.D., in Chemistry.Strong academic credentials.Education:Advanced degree (Ph.D.) in Chemistry.Certifications:Patent Agent registration with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) is preferred..Skills:Proficient in conducting prior art searches and analyzing technical literature.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Demonstrated experience in preparing and prosecuting patent applications in medicinal chemistry, pharmaceuticals, synthetic methods, and polymer science.Strong analytical and research skills.Ability to work collaboratively with inventors, attorneys, and other professionals.Familiarity with USPTO procedures and regulations.
