NEEDED: Certified Dental Hygienist LOCATION: 37900 N. 45th Ave, Phoenix, AZ, 85086 HOURS: 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM (8 hours per day with 30-minute lunch) SCHEDULE: Monday – Friday, exclusive of holidays QUALIFICATIONS: Supporting documents must be submitted with resume (thanks!) Required to be certified/licensed as a Dental Hygienist in any State and must submit photocopies of their license and/or board certification . Dental radiology certification and anesthesia certification are required. CPR certification is also required. A minimum of three years of experience is preferred. DUTIES: Provide dental prophylaxis on inmates who are referred by medical unit staff. Provide thorough individualized oral hygiene instructions to each patient. Monitor oral hygiene and periodontal condition on each patient seen for dental prophylaxis. Assist the Chief Dentist and Staff Dentist when needed and/or necessary. Complete necessary dental x-rays as specified by the dentist. Sterilize instruments used for prophylaxis and other instruments as specified by the medical unit staff. Perform necessary paperwork related to dental healthcare and/or medical unit needs.
