About the position: Currently, we are looking for an eager Sr. Systems Administrator for our Corporate IT team, based in Burnaby, BC. The Sr. Systems Administrator is a key member of the infrastructure team, which supports corporate physical and virtual infrastructure. This position requires good understanding and experience in computer networks, virtualization, high availability and clustered environments, and a strong background in security. Sr. System Admin Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, network servers, connectivity, unified communications, virtualization, and security systems Maintain internal infrastructure requirements including servers, routers, switches, firewalls, LAN, WAN Manage endpoint protection software, firewalls and monitoring systems and take part in security audits Support the Helpdesk and Applications teams, as an escalation point in troubleshooting, root cause identification, and technical support Manage corporate storage, backup and recovery Sr. System Admin Required Skills and Experience: 3+ Years experience with Microsoft M365 Suite and Security products - Exchange Online (Hybrid Environment) One Drive Defender for O365 or similar email security solution Defender for Endpoint or similar EDR solution Experience supporting and maintaining a VMware ESXi / v Center cluster environment - Upgrading, Patching, Storage Management Experience working with Clustered Replicating Storage Solutions - Preferably Nimble Knowledge of current Cybersecurity trends and threat landscape Able to detect zero-day vulnerabilities, produce a risk mitigation plan and work with team to expedite deployment Experience working with a vulnerability scanner, manage prioritization of various CVEs and required patches. 7+ years of experience in multi-site Windows Server environments (Active Directory, DFS, GPO Management, Power Shell) Experience managing enterprise.
