Due to continued growth, they have an immediate requirement for an experienced Electronics Test Engineer at their site in Wokingham. The Electronics Test Engineer will be responsible for undertaking the testing of electronic hardware in a low-volume and prototype manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities for the Electronics Test Engineer: Undertake software and system integration tests. Operation of an environmental test chamber. Create test procedures in consultation with design engineers. Installation of operating systems Linux and Windows. Fault finding, debugging and resolution of issues ensuring that all work meets quality and technical standards. Occasional visits to customer sites to support equipment setting to work and field service. Skills and Experience for the Electronics Test Engineer: Essential: HNC or equivalent in electronics. Ability to write comprehensive test plans and test procedures. Computer Literate and competent with using Microsoft Word and Excel packages. Desirable: Experience of both Windows and Linux operating systems. Experience with software tests. An understanding of video, both analogue and digital format.
