We are seeking a talented and dedicated Regional Staff Pharmacist to join our team in Swan River, Manitoba. Swan River, Manitoba Rich history, and vibrant community. Discover the perfect blend of rural charm and modern conveniences in Swan River. Responsibilities Prescription management: Review prescriptions to ensure proper dosage and accuracy. Compounding and dispensing: Calculate, measure, and mix medical products, filling appropriate containers with the correct quantities. Medication management: Maintain customer medication profiles, including controlled substances. Ensure proper preparation, packaging, distribution, and storage of vaccines, serums, and other drugs. Inventory control: Order and manage medical supplies to maintain stock levels. Customer consultation : Advise customers on the selection and use of non-prescription medications. Renew existing prescriptions in limited circumstances. Professional responsibilities: Adapt medication formulations, regimens, and administration routes as necessary. May supervise and coordinate the activities of other shop staff. Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate) A university degree in shop and a period of supervised practical training are required.
