Position Overview Reporting to the Drug Distribution Manager and under the general supervision of a Pharmacist or other shop Technician, the incumbent is responsible for; Performing tasks within their scope of practice to participate in the shop Department’s drug distribution systems and contribute to the safe and effective use of medications at St. Boniface Hospital (SBH). Experience Previous experience in hospital shop practice is preferred. Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate) Successful completion of: a Canadian Council for Accreditation of shop Program (CCAPP) Accredited shop Technician Certificate OR the program prescribed by the College of Pharmacists of Manitoba for candidates who successfully complete a non-CCAPP Accredited shop Technician Certificate. shop Technician Certificate. Completion or eligible to complete the CPh M shop Technician Structured Practical Training Program and CPh M shop Technician Jurisprudence Examination. Certification/Licensure/Registration Recognized or eligible to be recognized as a shop Technician by the College of Pharmacists of Manitoba (CPh M) is required.
